  • The formation of a business

First, you must establish a business and then convert it into a legal entity by incorporating it into one of the following business structures.

  • Obtain the Importer Exporter Code (IEC)

The IEC in India is granted by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), an apex government institution. It is one of the most critical legal permits for conducting EXIM business in India. IEC is a ten-digit identification code that aids exporters in meeting legal requirements for goods exportation.

  • Obtain a PAN from IT Department

The tax-related information is recorded against an individual PAN number, which is the key for information storage using this method. Because this information is shared across India, no two taxpayers or tax-paying entities can have the same PAN.

  • License from India's Coffee Board:

The Coffee Board of India issues Export Permits to registered exporters in accordance with Rule 44(2) of the Coffee Act 1942. To obtain an Export Permit (Form-C) and Certificate of Origin, the registered exporter must go to the official portal, "indie coffee," and file an Export Permit Application (EPA).
